A serious event shocked the Markdoda family in the Kamza area this morning, after the grandfather accidentally hit his 2-year-old grandson with a vehicle in the backyard.

Unfortunately, the little boy died in the hospital due to his injuries.

The loss of the minor child has been difficult for the family and even more so for the grandfather, who is in a difficult psychological state.

For the "Rudina" show, journalist Besar Bajraktaraj shared details of the serious event. According to the information provided by him, the child was put under the pick-up truck and this was not noticed by the grandfather or other family members. Initially, the latter thought that the child had fallen from the second floor of the apartment, but it was the police who revealed the full incident.

Besar Bajraktaraj: They are delicate issues that due to carelessness of any individual can cause the course of life, not only of a person, but also of the whole family. In fact, today should have been an ordinary day for the Markdoda family in the area of ​​Valias in Kamez. According to the announcement made by the police, the incident happened around 08:15. It was the grandfather of the family who accidentally hit the minor 2-year-old grandson, who as a result died in the hospital as a result of his injuries. The grandfather was in his apartment, he started his usual day by drinking morning coffee in the apartment and started the vehicle and then returned to the apartment. When he got out, he did not see the 2-year-old child who had entered the lower part of the vehicle, as it is a "truck" type vehicle. Then he maneuvered by walking behind and left the apartment. He went out to close the gate of the private house and the calls of other family members were heard there after they saw the 2-year-old child in an accident.

Whose care was the child in at the time?

Besar Bajraktaraj: There were actually other people, but we can say that it was a momentary negligence, since the child entered the lower part of the vehicle and was not found by other family members either. It is a serious event that the family members initially thought that he had fallen from the second floor of the apartment, but then and with the arrival of the police, the whole dynamic was clarified. An attempt was made to give him first aid at the hospital, but the child died at the hospital.

Besar Bajraktaraj: The grandfather was in a serious condition. And today, when he was questioned by the police, he was in a serious psychological state.

Besar Bajraktaraj: He is not free as he must face criminal responsibility after being arrested by the police for causing an accident with serious consequences which is also death.
