The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has stated that if the citizens did not want the Board that determines the price of fuel, it would be the simplest thing for this board to be dissolved.
According to the minister, the government was forced to keep the board, to maintain the prices.
"We are forced to have this board, just to maintain the price ceiling and not allow this price to go higher. If the citizens did not want this board, it would undoubtedly be the simplest action, to gather at the last meeting and dissolve this board after it has fulfilled its duty and kept this award as much as it could" , said Balluku in EuroNews Albania.
According to Balluk, no one has the pleasure of being on this board and affecting the free market, but he emphasized that we are living in a time of crisis
