The execution file of Albi Bashaliu is expected to be transferred from the Elbasan prosecutor's office to the SPAK. This event was recorded on December 27, 2021 in the village of Gjoçaj in Peqin, where masked persons killed the 32-year-old with a firearm.

According to Ora News, Albi Bashaliu's father, Mustafai, recently addressed a request to the Elbasan prosecutor's office, requesting that the case of his son's murder not be investigated in Elbasan, but by the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office. Mustafa Bashaliu suspects that the murder of his son was committed for a fee and from the names recently arrested by SPAK in the framework of the operation "Golden Bullet". He demands that the investigative file join the investigations that SPAK is currently conducting for the gang of assassins.

It is expected that in the coming days, the Elbasan prosecutor's office will come up with a decision on this case, whether to transfer it to SPAK or not.

Albi Bashaliu, was known in the area as a person with a criminal record, because in 2017 he shot with an automatic weapon at two people, but without being able to kill them. While according to the prosecution, the murder of Albi Bashali is motivated by revenge, as the victim's brother Leonard Bashaliu, 6 months before Albi was killed, executed Ylber Xhahysa with a firearm, where the cause was a conflict over car scratching.

Leonardi is currently in prison, but his other brother was killed in the village bar in front of some of the residents of Gjoçaj village. Elbasan police ran to the apartment of Ylber Xhahysa's relatives, but all members were at home at the time of the serious crime.

One day after the crime took place, the police found intact on the Gosë-Vilbashtovë road axis of Rrogozhina, the car of the victim who was abducted by the killers after the execution. The perpetrators were forced to take the victim's car after their vehicle suffered a defect and in these conditions the two persons burned the car at the scene.
