Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted after the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias. The head of the Albanian government has published two photos from the meeting in his office, while next to them he writes that they have discussed issues of interest that unite our peoples.

"With the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikos Dendias, in a fruitful conversation on issues of interest that unite our peoples", writes Rama.

Earlier, the Greek foreign diplomat reacted, noting that the topic of the talks was bilateral relations and Albania's European perspective.

"At the end of my visit to Tirana, I met with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama. At the center of the discussions were the bilateral relations, the European perspective of Albania and the regional developments " - writes Dendias.

During the joint conference with the Albanian counterpart, Olta Xhaçka, Dendias said that they have taken the decision to forward the issue of the sea border to The Hague.

"Prime Minister Edi Rama will convey the greetings of the Greek Prime Minister. I am glad to be here and to announce together with Prime Minister Rama our decision to pursue the issue of delimitation of maritime space in The Hague. Fulfilling this procedure is of particular importance.

Both countries want us to resolve our differences, mainly that of the sea. I think that beyond the importance it has for our countries it also sends an important message that this is the right way to resolve our divergences. We must file the documents in the Hague tribunal as soon as possible. Our relationship is well developed, even the abrogation of the law of war is something we need to break away from. The repeal of the law should be closed as soon as possible. "We need to discuss practical issues, " Dendias said.
