Three people declared internationally wanted by Albania, two Italian citizens and one Albanian have been put in handcuffs in Italy and the US.

Italian police officer Alessandro Locateli has been arrested for seven years in prison for money laundering. He has made two transfers from Slovenia to Albania, in the amount of 7,500 euros, which are sourced from the criminal activity of this country, in the Italian state.

Italian Stefano Bottura was also arrested for nine years in prison for computer fraud. This citizen through a fraud scheme, has created in Albania a company in which he has carried out several transactions, where the amount of money thrown into the cards was greater than the amount of purchases made.

While in the US, former Albanian lawyer Elton Daka was arrested, sentenced to 6 years in prison for the offense of fraud.
This citizen, practicing his profession as a lawyer, in 2013, defrauded two citizens involved in an accident, who received significant amounts of money and failed to resolve their case.
