23-year-old wanted in Italy for drug trafficking arrested in Durrës,

A 23-year-old man internationally wanted by Italian authorities has been arrested in Durrës, with the aim of extradition.

The arrested Latif Biba is suspected of being part of a criminal group in Italy, with activities in the field of production, sale and trafficking of narcotics.

According to authorities, the Court of Brescia in Italy issued an arrest warrant for the 23-year-old in March 2026, for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Participation in a criminal group for trafficking in narcotics."

Currently, Interpol Tirana is cooperating with Italian counterparts to complete legal procedures and extradite him to Italy.
