The British Embassy has once again called on young Albanians not to try the illegal routes through the sea to get to Great Britain.

Through a post on social networks, the embassy writes that the sea is dangerous and lives can be lost

"Trying to leave Albania for the United Kingdom, you can even lose your life due to the dangerous weather conditions. The sea is dangerous and unpredictable, do not cross it illegally," the post reads.

Great Britain has become in recent years a main destination for young Albanians who choose to cross the sea illegally.

The addition of these illegal immigrants to the island also brought a fierce debate between the two governments, which was followed by a plan from the British side.
