A serious event has shocked public opinion, where 32-year-old Orjana Gremi from the village of Myselim in Shkodra, threw her baby into the river Kir last night, just a few days after birth.

Sajmir Selmanaj, doctor on duty at the maternity hospital in Shkodër on the night when Orjana Gremi gave birth to her son, gave a statement to the media, but not in front of the cameras.

He says that on the night of December 30, Orjana Gremi gave birth to her son around 11:40. According to him, the 32-year-old was alone.

"When she was admitted, I did not admit her, so I am the doctor who came in the morning, I was on duty, I visited her, it was 7-8 cm dilated, I'm saying, and she was born normally, there was a stitch small and that's all," said Selmanaj.

Until January 4, Orjana was hospitalized, as the doctor said, but he was not aware of her emotional state. He said that since the woman came alone, everyone was committed to her care because they were worried precisely because of the fact that she might not want to carry the child.

The doctor says that Orjana said that she did not want the child.
