In addition to preventing and documenting serious criminal events, the State Police has also faced an influx of police officers involved in criminal activity. In the past year alone, 132 officers were arrested by their colleagues.

In addition to the high number of arrestees, a total of 313 police officers from different sectors have been investigated by the prosecuting authority under the suspicion of abuse of duty.

This high number of employees comes mainly from sectors that have more contact with citizens. They are the traffic police, the patrol forces and the eagle forces.

The most frequent complaints that citizens have about the police are related to the behavior of the officers. In the Agency for Police Supervision, more than 4,000 phone calls were registered in 12 months with various denunciations from the management level to the implementation level, reports OraNews.

In addition to the investigation and arrests, 85 officers were dismissed from the General Directorate.

The last signature of Rrumbullak given for the exception concerns the most effective of the eagles, Ylber Dybel, but also for the traffic police Renato Feri, who strongly opposed his colleagues of the eagle unit and during the search of his car, cannabis was also found.
