Alibej tells how the clashes between the three groups of Elbasan started: What
Erion Alibej, Suel Çela and the assassination that killed Endrit Alibej and 2 other family members in 2018

Erion Alibej continued his testimony as a justice collaborator at the Criminal Court of Kosovo, as he recounted his meetings with Suel Çela and Sokol Sanxhaktari (the son-in-law convicted of murdering the late former mayor of Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini).

He has also provided details of investigative importance, according to SPAK, regarding the criminal activity in drug trafficking in Europe by the Çopja brothers.

Alibej said that Hajdar Çopja trafficked “drug horses” from Germany to England and beyond, while his brother, Franci, was based in Tottenham, from where he ran the entire business by phone. Alibej recounted the first difficulties, emigrating to England to his uncle, Arben Dylgjeri, working with drugs to pay off his brother, Endrit, the rise of the Çopja brothers and the activities they carried out.

"When Sueli came to the house with Sokol Sanxhatari, Endriti told me we would meet them because they were for a drug deal, I met Sueli coldly. I insisted on going to England to work, because Endriti had debts and I wanted to help him pay them off, I went by truck, at first I stayed with uncle Arben Dylgjeri, because he had an idea of what kind of work I would do, I was able to get supplies and sell cocaine, but I encountered difficulties getting home, Hajdar Çopja was a very safe horse transporter, from Germany we would start, all the way to Belgium and the Netherlands ," the justice collaborator continued his story.

He further recounted how he set up the business there, the debt laundering and the large illegal drug business that the Cops set up in England.

"In England I went to Franc Çopja's house, who lived in Tottenham, he checked the work by phone, I went to a housing agency and got it and started working very well, I managed to pay off a very large debt that Endriti had at the time, I did a good and big job, so much so that I caught attention and my name was mentioned, it was a time of crisis, because there was not much goods and many shipments were being intercepted, I worked with many Albanians there, the first one I collaborated with there was a Ylli from Rrogozhina and Klodi from Durres. After some time, an Ilir Lloshi came to England, who was organizing the work for Hajdar and Franc Çopjan, he told me that Franc had a problem with the transport of drug horses and they intercepted a load ", Alibej said in the GJKKO.

Erion Alibej has also recounted in the Special Court today the period when intrigues began between three criminal groups in Elbasan, who according to him were actually childhood friends and whose clashes turned into bloody conflicts.

He recounted several trafficking episodes that are thought to have led to fights between them over control of the activity, and the basis of the events was precisely the loss of drug shipments or robbery.

In England, the justice associate told of the episode where the Çopjats claimed the disappearance of 50 kg of drugs from their base and then when he returned to Albania, it was Suel Çela who claimed the cargo was lost. According to Suel, the Çopjats had told him that his brother, Endriti, was involved, but the latter denied it.

Also present at the meeting at Sueli's house was Sokol Sanxhaktari, the son-in-law of the late former mayor, Qazim Sejdini. Alibej stated that "the intrigues began in Albania" during 2018, when his brother was also killed in an assassination attempt in Bradashesh, along with his Turkish uncle and brother-in-law.

"I continued to work vigorously with the sale of cocaine in England, I want to explain that it is untrue that the war started for a 50 kg drug shipment. Ilir Lloshi is a childhood friend of Hajdar Çopja, he sent me an SMS and said he wanted to meet me because I was very sick, he told me that I was at the house of a boy named Foksi and this childhood friend of Hajdar. Ilir Lloshi sent me a photo, he had black eyes, he had been beaten, I went to Foksi's house, and he told me that they wanted to kill me, I escaped from the hands of the English, I told him there would be a massacre, he told me that a shipment of over 50 kg and some cocaine came to Franc, I was no longer talking to these Çopjas at this time, he told me that this shipment had been robbed, the police had gone to the house where it was kept, he took this Ilir home for 2 weeks, he explained to me that Franc Çopja had an English partner, we found out that In the house where the drugs were kept, they had tied up a boy from Elbasan and taken what they had found.

Intrigues began in the city, words like Sueli had pushed a person to injure my uncle. Sueli has always been involved in criminal activity, except for drugs, and during this period they had clashes with the Çapja group. An open conflict of tribes, with Ardian Çapja, Florenc Çapja and Bledar Muçë.

After I came to Albania, we were at my uncle's bar, his father Sueli and Sokol Sanxhaktari drove by in a "Range Rover". Sueli opened the window and said to Endrit, come to Tregu. I told Sueli, you have no shame in pointing your finger, I spoke to him severely, Sokol Sanxhaktari came out and said to me, Erion, what are you talking about, it was the time when he was taking people and raping them to Tregu. We went to Sueli's house, his mother was there, after we sat down, Sueli told Endrit that we had a problem with the road work they had for a load and some Romanians who belong to Hajdar Çopja did it to us, but he denies it and says that Endrit has something to do with it and that's why I wanted to ask you. Endrit laughed ironically and said I have nothing to do with this work. Sokol Sanxhaktari intervened and said to Sueli "hey, did I tell you that those bastards are for Çopja". "I went and met Sueli's mother, Hana, she burst into tears, she hugged me, I hadn't been to her house when Sueli was in prison, in Italy."
