Serious accident at the Elbasan Metallurgical plant, the former minister's brother and a worker are seriously injured

A serious accident happened this Monday in one of Kurum International's plants in the former Metallurgical Combine of Elbasan.

Unofficial sources confirmed that a serious accident occurred during the installation tests of a machine.

It is suspected that the accident happened as a result of not knowing the technological process of the machine that the engineer and a worker were trying to put to work. Meanwhile, the Elbasan police have documented the incident which is being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office.

As a result, an engineer and a worker were injured. Injured are David Elezi and Mikel Caku, the brother of the former minister of education, Evis Kushi, who is in a more serious state of health.

They were first transported to the Regional Hospital of Elbasan and then to a private hospital.
