SPAK's investigations against the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, have revealed how a number of businesses were used by Ermal Kurtulaj, Beqaj's subordinate at the Fund Management Agency with the EU to launder money with fictitious service invoices.

According to the media, the file on page 13 also mentions a well-known restaurant in the capital, "Me Nam", owned equally by Fisnik Fili and the famous actor Ermal Mamaqi. According to the documents, in 3 cases, Fisnik Fili received invoices for the organization of the events of the "GZONA" restaurant, worth over 325,000 ALL in total, and did not make third party purchases in order for the money to go to Ermal Kurtulaj.

Today, Ermal Mamaqi reacted for the first time after the accusations that he was involved in a money laundering scheme.

He denies the allegations, seeking to refute the news and warning of legal action.

Due to a fake news that has been circulating recently, I want to make a clarification for my fans and well-wishers, I also have a direct request for all those who, intentionally or through lack of professionalism, have contributed to the multiplication of this untruths.

I am not involved in any money laundering scheme and I have not committed any legal violations, contrary to what is being rumoured.

This false information, distributed by some media and journalists who have violated the ethics and principles of their profession with both feet, has caused psychological, moral and economic damage.

Therefore, I call on you to refute and delete all the news in my address regarding this matter, because otherwise, every subject involved will have a legal prosecution where everyone will face the consequences provided by the law.

As for those who have engaged in insults and spreading hate speech, I want to tell you that this is not the way to feel better, or to comfort yourself.

He who has the truth with him is not afraid of anything. And my truth is the work I do, my sacrifices, my art.
