Murder by gun in Vaun e Deja

A murder with a gun was registered in the early hours of this morning in Vaun e Dejës, Shkodër. The police informs that after a conflict due to weak motives, it is suspected that AP, 37 years old, resident of the village of Stajkë, shot and killed citizen AM, 51 years old, resident of Shkodër.

According to the blue uniforms, it is suspected that after a conflict for weak motives started in the village bar, the 37-year-old went to the apartment, took the Kalashnikov firearm and at the moment the AM citizen got into his vehicle to leave, the AP citizen shot him with a firearm.

The police announce that they have started the work for the complete disclosure of the incident and continue the search for the capture of the suspected perpetrator.

Police notification:

On 23.08.2022, around 03:00, in the village of Shelqet, Vau i Dejës, after a conflict for weak motives, it is suspected that the citizen AP, 37 years old, resident of the village of Stajkë, Vau i Dejës, killed with a firearm citizen AM, 51 years old, resident of Shkodër.

From the quick actions and preliminary investigations carried out by the Police, it is suspected that the conflict for weak motives started in the village bar and immediately the AP citizen went to the apartment and took the Kalashnikov firearm and at the moment the AM citizen got into the vehicle to leave, the AP citizen shot him with a firearm.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues the work at the scene for the complete clarification of the circumstances and the legal documentation of this event.

The Police Services are in pursuit of the author and the control of the area continues for his capture.
