President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters in New York that he will resign on Sunday, around 8 p.m., and will explain his decision.
"I will resign on Sunday evening, so I will notify you, I think it will be around eight o'clock in the evening. I will notify you, I will call you all, you will hear my explanation and everything else," Vučić said.
Vučić said he will know more about the resolution of the Serbian Oil Industry issue within two to three days.
When reporters asked him if the situation was clearer when it came to the solution regarding the NIS, Vučić said he did not know what to answer exactly, but hoped that after the conversation with Putin he would know something more.
"In the coming days, before I finish my mandate, I will have a conversation with President Putin, so, this is news for you. We talked here, of course, about energy agreements and the Serbian Oil Industry. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe then I will know something. I would like to be able to make people and myself happy, to be honest, after these months and years of torture. I hope that within two or three days I will have a better and more accurate answer for you," Vučić said.
