This is the moment when Fasli Rama, the commander of the Law Enforcement Forces at the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, was hit in the head with a stone/brick, during the protest in the northern capital, reports newsbomb.al.

He was behind the cordon facing the protesters and, as can be seen from these images, a stone thrown at the officers hit him in the forehead, causing a serious wound.

Commander Fasli Rama was pulled away by other officers, who saw his face covered in blood and tried to provide first aid.

He was sent for first aid to the Shkodra Regional Hospital and the doctors immediately decided that Commander Fasli Rama should be sent to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, because he needs specialized treatment for the blow to the head.
