Following Prime Minister Edi Rama's order for all directors of institutions to resign, the first act of dismissals is confirmed.

The Director of Railways, Ergys Verdho, as he left the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, admitted that he had resigned from his position.

"I resigned from my position. I was in SPAK for old stories," he said.

So far, the reason why Verdho is in the Special Prosecution Office is unknown, while this is not the first time he has been seen at the doors of SPAK.

He was also seen during the months of May, June, and most recently on October 8.

Ergys Verdho's name has been included in SPAK investigations related to public procurement procedures and officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy during the time when this ministry was headed by Belinda Balluku.
