The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has appointed two new deputy mayors from the cell: Sara Goxhaj and Sadi Vorpsi.

According to information, both began exercising their functions as deputy mayors this Monday, returning to the institution's management structure.

Goxhaj has held this position before, and in March 2025 he left office on the orders of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Now, after a few months, she returns to one of the leadership positions of the Municipality of Tirana.

Sadi Vorpsi has also joined the returns to the municipal administration, once again taking on the role of deputy mayor.

Their return comes at a time when the leadership of the Municipality of Tirana has undergone successive changes in the management structure.

With the two new appointments, the Municipality of Tirana now has four deputy mayors: Sara Goxhaj, Sadi Vorpsi, Vasilika Vjero and Ilir Mëngra.
