Ermal Pacaj, the socialist MP for Lezha, was left speechless in today's plenary session in the Albanian Parliament, as when he took to the podium to share the concerns of citizens for government representatives to hear, the hall was empty.

"I actually just came from the Territorial Reform Commission, because they told me it was my turn, but it seems to me that I came in vain."

I talk to the citizens… The citizens have told me their problems. Should I tell them so that I can listen to them, what should I tell them? They know the problems better than I do. Some of the other problems, we are co-sufferers.

"It doesn't seem normal to me. I have to cry my troubles out to someone here, there's no one, I'm telling you," said the socialist MP for Lezha, Ermal Pacaj, openly criticizing his own party.
