Shaqiri after the loss: I apologize to the fans, but this is football

Portugal destroyed Switzerland yesterday evening with the result 6-1, a valuable match to get a ticket to the quarterfinals.

This was also the last journey for the three players of Albanian origin, Xhaka, Shaqiri and Jashari. After this match, Xherdan Shaqiri spoke expressing his regret.

"We are very disappointed. On behalf of the team, I apologize to all the fans for not being able to perform as usual.

We have big plans. But this is football, sometimes the limits are shown. It was the same today. We lost the game in the first half and then we had to chase the result. I congratulate Portugal for the goals, but the result was definitely very difficult", said Shaqiri.
