The Serie A calendar is published, a difficult start for the reigning champions

With the draw at noon this Friday, the new edition of Serie A was born. The elite championship in Italy will start on August 13 and will end on June 4, 2023.

The start is immediately difficult for Milan, the reigning champions. In the first week, the red and blacks play against Udinese. Juventus will host Sassuolo at home, while Inter will be engaged in the transfer with Lecce back in the elite.

The race becomes interesting from the first matches. The Milan derby between Milan and Inter will be played in the fifth week of Serie A, more precisely on September 4. The return duel between the big rivals is scheduled for February 5, in the meeting valid for the 21st week.

Another big match will be played on November 6: the Italian derby between Juventus and Inter, in the 13th week of the championship. On this date, the first derby between Rome and Lazio is played. The return challenge, where Inter will be the host team and traveling Juventus, will take place on March 19, in the 27th week.

The matches between Milan and Juventus will be played on October 9, in the 9th week and on May 28, in the penultimate match of the championship. Interesting dates will also be April 23, 2023: When Juventus play Napoli in the 31st week, but also May 21, when Napoli challenges Inter.

Although Italy did not qualify, due to the 2022 World Cup, Serie A will be suspended for 52 days, from November 13, until the championship resumes with the midweek matches of January 3, 4 and 5.
