A terrifying episode has been recorded at the Swimming World Cup taking place in Budapest, Hungary.

American swimmer Anita Alvarez lost consciousness while competing in the pool and consequently for a few seconds remained submerged at the bottom of the pool.

Fortunately, the quick intervention of the 25-year-old coach turned out to be crucial for Alvarez's life, while the medical team also reacted quickly, stabilizing the health situation of the American athlete.

Alvarez, is already well as the cause of loss of consciousness was the great stress in cooperation with the high heat in the environment where he competed.
