The last few months have not been easy months for Alvaro Morata, who in an interview with Spanish radio Cope said he had suffered from depression and panic attacks.
"No matter what job you have or what situation you're in in life, you have a person inside that you have to fight every day and every night," he said.
For this reason he decided to leave Spain and go to Italy: in his country he was often the victim of ridicule, sometimes even in front of his children: "I was ashamed to be with my children, I was ashamed to go out" he said he. This is due to the fact that he was afraid of insults and attacks from strangers even in front of children.
For Alvaro Morata, leaving home with Leonardo, Alessandro, Edoardo and Bella (the 4 children he had with Alice Campello) was anything but simple: "In the end, every time I went out with them there was always an episode, sometimes not malicious , so much so that I was ashamed to be with them".
In Italy this does not happen and it is one of the reasons why he preferred to take off the Atletico Madrid jersey and wear the one of Milan: "In the end it is a decision that is also for them, it is not only for me, it is everything that surrounds every situation ".
Life in Spain had become unbearable for Alvaro Morata: "When they cursed me loudly in front of my children, there comes a moment when you either don't leave the house, you stop living or you get angry," he said.
"I have not hurt anyone and I have done nothing wrong against others."
Alvaro Morata had never been so open about his condition, but he and Alice Campello had made several references in the moments after the split was announced.
"There are our dynamics that will remain as they have consumed us (great depressions, moments of strong European tensions and the newspapers)", his ex-wife had written, denying rumors of betrayal that had begun to circulate. Then she confessed that she had gone through complicated periods on an emotional level following each of the four pregnancies, but it was clear from her words that the footballer had also gone through difficult periods.
Now a new phase of life has opened for Alvaro Morata. He left Spain to return and live in Italy, where he previously lived while on the pitch with Juventus.
He first lived in a hotel for a period and then moved to Corbetta, only to leave shortly after when the town's mayor broke the news on social media. "Thank you for violating my privacy. Fortunately, I do not own any valuable assets, the only treasure is my children, whose safety you are worried about," wrote the footballer, expressing his disappointment.
With Alice Campello it seems that there is no possibility of union and both have chosen a separation strategy that follows the line traced by Ferragnez. However, unlike Chiara Ferragni and Fedez, Alvaro and Alice seem to be in a more relaxed relationship. He would have liked to have stayed in Spain, moved to Milan to allow the family to stay together.
