"Modric is something you don't see in football anymore and I thank God
Massimiliano Allegri

Coach Massimiliano Allegri, speaking at a press conference on the eve of Napoli's big match, said some positive things about the club's transfer market, starting with the signing of his midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

"The important thing the club has done is that the arrival of Rabiot, an international player, has increased the competition within the group. In midfield, we have six very good players, apart from Modric, who unfortunately is something you don't see in football anymore, and thank God we have him... The others are all very reliable, and that's essential."

How is the team doing physically? What doubts do you have about tomorrow?

"I have enough doubts for tomorrow, hopefully we can resolve them by tomorrow evening, otherwise it will be a mess. Tuesday's game confirmed that De Winter, Athekame and Nkunku played well. There is a group of boys who are becoming a team. We all have to have a goal and our personal goals have to be put at the service of the team to achieve the ultimate goal, which is everyone's, for Milan to play in the Champions League next year."

How mature is the team?

"We'll see tomorrow, the first test is tomorrow. But every Sunday or Saturday there will be a test. We have to work. We haven't solved anything for a month. We're neither in the Champions League nor have we won the Scudetto. Tomorrow will be a good match and a good test. Tomorrow won't decide the Scudetto or our qualification for the Champions League. You need a minimum number of players to go to the Champions League, it's not like tomorrow, if you win, you'll get 70 players (laughs)."
