Messi reveals the two most influential people in his career
Lionel Messi

In a recent interview with Mundo Deportivo, Lionel Messi had the opportunity to reflect on his long and glorious period at Barcelona, expressing deep nostalgia for the most memorable moments of his career.

The Inter Miami star highlighted his close connection with the Catalan club and the possibility of a possible return in the future.

Messi mentioned some of the most important moments he has experienced with Barcelona, starting from the golden period under Pep Guardiola, the transition to another dimension with the treble under Luis Enrique and the unforgettable experience of winning the Champions League with Ronaldinho in 2006.

He also highlighted the historic year of six trophies, expressing hope that Barcelona can return to that high competitive level again.

"The historic moments that we helped achieve are the ones that remain the most precious to me," Messi said, also adding that it would be wonderful to see Barcelona return to the top, winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, or at least fighting until the end for the titles.

For him, the influence of two club legends, Pep Guardiola and Ronaldinho, has been key in his development as a footballer. He considers Guardiola as one of the biggest contributors to the team's success, while Ronaldinho played a huge role during his early days in the first team.

Messi also mentioned his teammates like Iniesta, Xavi, and others who are now with him in America—Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suárez—emphasizing the strength of the friendships that have survived even after so many years.

All of these memories form an important part of Messi's legacy at Barcelona, a success story that has shaped his career and that continues to be an important part of his identity, despite his departure from the club.
