The dream of Santos fans is about to come true: Neymar Jr. will return to wear the black and white jersey.

The Brazilian striker, after officially ending his failed adventure in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal, is ready to return to the club that launched him to international glory.

Last night, the Saudis announced the news that they had severed relations by mutual agreement with the footballer.

On the other hand, the Brazilian press has confirmed that the 32-year-old star has found an agreement to return to Santos, a decision that combines the player's personal desire with the enthusiasm of a fan base that has never stopped dreaming of his return. The official presentation is expected in the coming days, but the Brazilian could already arrive in Brazil on Wednesday to begin his new chapter.

The striker has played just seven games for Al-Hilal since his transfer from Paris Saint Germain, for around 90 million euros, in the summer of 2023.

In just seven matches with Al-Hilal, Neymar has scored just one goal and provided three assists, figures far below the club's expectations.

The Brazilian went through a series of injuries including a serious knee problem suffered in October 2023 during a match with the Brazilian national team.

For Al-Hilal's coffers, the total investment translates into astronomical figures: around 30 million euros for each match played by Neymar in Saudi Arabia.
