Guardiola angers the fans: Pelé or Maradona? It's another big one
Pep Guardiola

Comparisons, already frequent in the past, today become almost mandatory. The coach of City, Pep Guardiola, could not avoid a comment about the departure from this life of Pele.

"I think Neymar said a wonderful thing when he said that the number ten was just a number before Pele and after him it became something special - the Catalan coach underlines - all great players want to wear the shirt with the number ten on their shoulders . What he did for football will remain forever in the world of football."

"I wasn't born yet when he played - emphasizes Pep again - he was very strong and left an important mark. I think Pele, like Cruijff, Maradona, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Beckenbauer are players who will stay forever. They have done many things for many years on the football fields. Pele was able to do everything, and Brazilians believe he is the best in history, just as Argentines think the same about Messi, Di Stefano and Maradona. Personally, I say that for me the best is Leo Messi".
