Slovenian Federation with strange condition for fans before match with Kosovo

The Slovenian Football Federation, after the strange decision to stop selling tickets out of "fear" that they were being bought by non-Slovenian fans, now has another obligation for anyone who will be in the stadium for the match against Kosovo on November 15.

After announcing that the entire stadium has been sold, i.e. 16,038 tickets, which is the capacity, the Slovenian Football Federation emphasized that apart from the away fans' sector, which determines 5% of the capacity, the entire rest of the stadium should be presented with a symbol of their national team and country as a means of identification, given that it has been reported that Kosovar citizens have purchased tickets beyond the number set for the away sector.

"Less than a month before the final match of the Slovenian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, all tickets for the match between Slovenia and Kosovo have been sold out."

"The Stozice Stadium will be full again on November 15, while the Football Federation of Slovenia calls on all ticket holders to behave in a sportsmanlike manner in the stands. Entry to the stadium (with the exception of the away fans' section) will only be possible with the symbols of Slovenia and the Slovenian national team," the Federation announces.

We remind you that for Kosovo, the match against Slovenia will be "vital", as with a point won it would mathematically secure the play-offs, but if the Dardanelles win and at the same time Sweden stops Switzerland, then they will enter with higher claims to achieve first place, which brings direct qualification for the World Cup group stage.
