Vllaznia has returned to Shkodër the striker of the national team, Bekim Balaj.

"The Vllaznia Football Club, in fulfillment of its sporting objectives, announces that it has reached a cooperation agreement for 3 sports seasons, with the player of the Albanian National Team, Bekim Balaj. WELCOME BEKIM BALAJ", reads Vllaznia's post.

Bekim Balaj played in Turkey, with the Keciorengucu club.

Tirana was also interested in Balaj's services, which contacted the striker immediately after breaking the contract with the Turkish club of Keciorengucu, however in the end the footballer himself chose Shkodra to play the last years of his career.

The 32-year-old striker grew up in Vllaznia, but he played only one season with the red and blue, in the period 2009-2010, when he also scored 17 goals in 38 games, which was enough to attract the attention of the Turks of Genclerbirligi.

A return of Balaj increases even more the enthusiasm of Vllaznia, which this season with Mirel Josa on the bench, aims to return the championship title to Shkodër, as it currently has 25 points, 4 less than the leading Partizan.
