National team captain Berat Gjimshiti spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match against England.
Gjimshiti stated that the atmosphere is very good, while adding that everyone is giving their maximum for one goal, which is qualifying for the World Cup.
The defender said he believes in dreaming big.
"The atmosphere is very good. There is a new spirit. There are young players and talents, who improve the team. Everyone gives their maximum on the field, to achieve a goal that has never been achieved.
Dreams are said to be impossible, but some dreams do come true. I've always believed. I'm not the type to hide behind saying we're a smaller team than England. We have to give everything on the pitch and if we achieve that it's a better success.
Their strength is known. We can't talk about them at all. We are well prepared. The coach has given us what we need to give on the field. The important thing is that the team does what it needs to do on the field. We are very well prepared and we will see tomorrow."
Gjimshiti said that against England, individual duels will not decide them, but those as a team.
Among other things, he also highly praised midfielder Jude Bellingham.
"I believe the team has a difficult job, not just me. As a team we have to stop them. It won't be individual duels, but team duels. If we cope very well, they will have a hard time.
Bellingham is a fantastic player. Players like him are rare. He is a player who can become one of the best in the world. He can reach the top of the world.
England is favored to win over many countries. We can't talk about that. I don't believe England will underestimate us. In today's football you never know and I don't believe there will be any underestimation on their part.
I think we had a good European Championship, even though we didn't qualify. You need to be 100% focused throughout the game. If you look at the games, we conceded goals in a few minutes against Croatia and Italy. Opponents of this level can hurt you very quickly.
"It's too early to talk about the chances, but as the matches go on, you can see it better. We won't go onto the field without thinking about qualifying. The important thing is to give everything on the field," declared Gjimshiti.
The England-Albania match will be played on Friday at Wembley Stadium, at 8:45 PM.
