Al Nassr's hopes of winning the Saudi Arabian league title were dealt a blow as Cristiano Ronaldo's side lost 3-2 to Al-Etifaq.

The Portuguese star made no mark on the pitch, going two games in a row without scoring for the first time since October 2024. He reacted angrily when the referee sent off teammate John Duran.

After protests from the black jackets failed to overturn the decision, the 40-year-old kicked the ball forcefully into the stands. Although the gesture was made in front of the referee, he spared Cristiano Ronaldo by not giving him a yellow card.
