An unusual scene occurred at the 'Via del Mare' stadium, in Lecce, during a Serie A match.
Around the 30th minute of the game, referee Bonacina awarded a penalty to Udinese after a winger tackled Lovric.
What caused a stir was a 'fight' between Udinese players over who would take the penalty. Lorenzo Lucca took the ball to take the penalty, despite several teammates, led by Thauvin, the team's penalty taker, trying to convince him that he was not the right one.
Lucca did not give up and, after a long debate, during which he also received a yellow card for time delay, he took the penalty and scored a goal.
Despite his goal, he celebrated alone, with his teammates keeping their distance. As if that weren't enough, Udinese's coach decided to substitute him a few minutes later, bringing him off for Iker Bravo. Thus, Lucca's evening ended early and without a smile.
