New details about the poisoning of children in one of the kindergartens in the city of Korça .

A mother raises doubts about the cause of the children's symptoms and demands that the case be fully investigated.

According to the parent, the disinfection in kindergarten no. 2 in Korça was carried out in early September, but the kitchen utensils were not used until a few days ago, as food service had not started due to the lack of a tender.

The parent says the food was served on Thursday, and on Friday evening the boy began showing symptoms of food poisoning. The parent suspects that the dishes may have been dirty or unsuitable for use after a long period of disuse.

Parents are requesting verification of hygiene and sanitation conditions, food consumed, and kitchen utensils to determine the cause of symptoms in children.

So far, it is learned that 6 children have been taken to the hospital with similar gastrointestinal symptoms, while 5 have been treated at home. So far, 11 children from the second group, which consisted of 27 children, have had symptoms of poisoning.

The police have already prosecuted the kindergarten director and the pediatrician at the Korça hospital who did not report the case to the police.

Both are accused of abuse of office.
