The United States has launched a military airlift operation towards Israel and other Middle Eastern countries, while Washington and Tel Aviv are reportedly preparing for a new campaign of attacks against Iran.
According to Israeli public television Kan News, at least 10 American military transport planes have arrived at Israeli air bases in the past 24 hours.
Reporting suggests the planes may have been carrying supplies for air defense systems, although the contents of the cargo have not been confirmed.
Other US military flights have also been reported to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, at a time when tensions between the United States, Israel and Iran remain high.
In parallel, according to a report by Axios, American and Israeli officials have discussed plans for a large-scale military operation against Iran, which could begin immediately after the US midterm elections on November 3.
The potential operation, according to the report, is expected to last about a week and could include attacks on Iranian leadership targets, energy infrastructure, nuclear facilities and other critical infrastructure.
