The Conference of Speakers has today approved the work program of the Assembly for the period 4 - 29 July 2022 and the work calendar of the Assembly for the period 11 - 29 July 2022.

The Conference of Chairmen has decided that the plenary sessions will take place on July 14, 21 and 24, 2022. It has also been decided to propose to the plenary session the postponement of the activity of the Special Parliamentary Committee for Administrative-Territorial Reform in the Republic of Albania until September 30, 2022.

The new President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, will take the oath of office in the plenary session of July 24. Begaj was voted on June 4 as the next head of state with 78 votes in favor, 4 members and 1 abstention.
