The two agreements that will be signed between the USA and Albania tomorrow in
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Prime Minister Edi Rama

Two agreements will be signed between Albania and the United States of America during the visit to Tirana tomorrow by the American Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.

The Council of Ministers has approved in principle the agreements related to an academic exchange program "Fullbright" as well as the Albania-USA cooperation memorandum against the manipulation of information of foreign countries, which is related to cooperation in defense against attacks cyber.

Decisions of the Council of Ministers today (February 14):

THE APPROVAL, IN PRINCIPLE, OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA (COUNCIL OF MINISTERS) AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FOR THE "FULBRIGHT" ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 10 of Law No. 43/2016, "On International Agreements in the Republic of Albania", with the proposal of the Minister of Education and Sports, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

Approval, in principle, of the memorandum of understanding between the government of the Republic of Albania (Council of Ministers) and the government of the United States of America, for the "Fulbright" academic exchange program, according to the text that is attached to this decision and is an integral part his.

This decision takes effect immediately.

DECISION ON THE APPROVAL, IN PRINCIPLE, OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ALBANIA - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AGAINST MANIPULATION OF FOREIGN STATE INFORMATION

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 10 of Law No. 43/2016, "On International Agreements in the Republic of Albania", with the proposal of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

The approval, in principle, of the memorandum of understanding between Albania and the United States of America against the manipulation of foreign state information, according to the text attached to this decision.

This decision takes effect immediately.
