The Prime Minister, Edi Rama , is in Dubai at the World Governance Summit session on the role of technology in addressing governance challenges together with the former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair .

In the panel of the World Governance Summit, Rama spoke about the efforts that Albania is making to enter the EU faster with the help of Artificial Intelligence.

"One of the most prominent figures of IA is an Albanian lady. I asked her if you could help Albania for EU integration, she said 'let's try'. We can do it in the current form of technology that has been developed. It is about change that is impossible to imagine how far we can go.

As for the necessary infrastructure, we must have a new infrastructure and every citizen to interact with the government. We are working with two of the biggest sources, Microsoft and Oracle. We faced a massive attack from Iran some time ago and being a permanent target we know firsthand how important it is to have secure data.

This is in development quite widely in the oracle world. We are working with artificial intelligence, they will give us an incentive to feel the future closer",  said Rama.
