Prime Minister Edi Rama met with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during his visit to Brussels.
Through a post on social networks, Michel says that he discussed with Rama about Albania's path towards the European Union.
"With Edi Rama, they discussed the way forward on Albania's path to the EU and our support all along the way. The future of the Western Balkans is in the EU.
He also welcomed the initiative to host a Western Balkans-Ukraine regional summit in Tirana. The EU is grateful for Albania's and the region's support for Ukraine," writes Michel.
