Prime Minister Edi Rama seems to have embarrassed the Dutch politician Kati Piri, who was moderating the Congress of European Socialist Parties.

While Piri was saying that it is an honor to have him among them, Rama asked to know the reason why. The Dutch politician tried to smile and explained that she finds it quite provocative, but she likes that he is direct.

Piri:  We invited you to share with us your views on some of the European and global challenges we face today. Prime Minister, it is my honor to share this stage with you and it is, in fact, an honor for all of us. What do you think or what are the advantages and priorities for the following years, for European cooperation?

Rama: Can you explain to me why it is your honor?

Piri: It's an honor, because... this is a real politician. It is an honor because we have once been in Zoom meetings discussing the Western Balkans. I always find you a very interesting speaker and it's not enough to say it on this stage, because you can be quite provocative, which I like as a Dutch person. You tend to be very direct, so it's an honor to meet you face to face.

Rama: Let's say I'm convinced now.
