The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech to the journalists, responded to the call of deputy Edi Paloka, during yesterday's meeting of the chairmanship, to lay down arms.
Berisha said that the peaceful uprising will be irreversible and that calls have also been made for the militants to lay down their arms. He threw out the option of any civil disobedience alternative to create resistance to the destruction that he says is being done to parliament.
" The uprising is peaceful but every means of civil disobedience will be in the field and will be organized more and more. This is irreversible movement. We will win.
We deserve to win that this is the most principled movement of democracy. Destroy Parliament in a way…the battle does not stop. "People have gone to extremes, there have been calls to take arms, let's say it's a reality, from the militants, " said Berisha.
