Rabie Cenalia and Jalldiz Kastrati, are the two lawyers appointed mainly by the state to defend the former prime minister Berisha, in the judicial process initiated against him.

There are exactly two ladies, the lawyers who will represent Berisha in the session scheduled for this Thursday.

What stands out is that one of the designated lawyers, Jalldiz Kastrati, is a political activist engaged with the Freedom Party.

Meanwhile, the Special Court initially appointed lawyer Artan Simoni as Berisha's legal defender, while a few hours later he was removed due to his stance against former Prime Minister Berisha on social networks.

In the session held the day before, the lawyer Genc Gjokutauj came out in a statement to the media where he showed that he and the other lawyer of the former prime minister Berisha decided to leave the session.

According to him, the court violated the constitution and the law. Gjokutaj stated that contrary to the law, GJKKO did not accept their request to send the review of the security measure to the Constitutional Court without going through the parliament.

The former prime minister is under investigation by GJKKO for passive corruption, as through legal acts he favored his son-in-law for the privatization of the former "Partizani" sports complex.

The security measures "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of exiting the country" have been imposed on former Prime Minister Berisha for the charge of "passive corruption".
