Despite the refusal of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha to sign the police report on recognition of the security measure, the Special Court has set today to interrogate him, as a person under investigation for the charge of passive corruption of high officials, as belongs to the issue of privatization of the Partizani sports complex.

The session is expected to take place today at 14:00, while the day before GJKKO decided to leave Jamarbër Malltez, the son-in-law of Sali Berisha, in prison, as well as the appearance obligation for the builder Fatmir Bektashi.

The security measures "compulsion to appear" and "banning of exiting the country" have been imposed on former Prime Minister Berisha.

Berisha himself, as well as his lawyer Genc Gjoktuaj, says that this procedure is illegal and that the Constitution has been violated by SPAK. The State Police tried last evening, but also on Saturday, to notify the former prime minister of the security measure, but Berisha avoided them.
