Three in five (58.7%) Albanians think that Sali Berisha should withdraw from politics.

Among Albanian citizens, who voted for the Democratic Party in the last elections, the situation is reversed.

Three out of five right-wing voters (63.2%) think that Berisha should not withdraw from politics.

Only one in three DP voters (30.8%) agree that Berisha should eventually withdraw from politics.

More than half of Albanians (53.8%) think that the DP no longer comes to power with Berisha at the helm.

One in three Albanians (33.8%) think that Berisha can bring the DP back to power.

Among the citizens who voted for the DP in the last elections, the prevailing opinion is that the Democrats are coming to power with Berisha.

Three in five (60.9%) right-wing voters think that Berisha brings the DP to power. Less than one in three right-wing voters (27.8%) do not believe this.

More than 65% of DP voters think that Berisha will win the election for DP chairman. Only 16% of them think that another candidate can win the race.

50% of right-wing voters would elect Berisha as party leader if they had the opportunity to vote. Only 7.4% of them would elect former mayor Lulzim Basha.

The findings are of the Barometer in Euronews Albania, conducted by MBR and Data Centrum at the national level on March 25 - April 5 with 1000 face-to-face interviews.
