Kosovo/ Albania

Hundreds of citizens from Kosovo have chosen Albania to spend the national holidays.

Arriving by private vehicles, but also organized in large groups, most of them have passed through the Morin Border Crossing , which today has seen a high influx of travelers.

The most popular city to celebrate remains Vlora, but travelers say they will also visit other coastal and historical cities.

In the last 24 hours alone, 64 buses have entered the Morin border crossing, while a total of 17,789 citizens and 4,651 vehicles have entered.

Border authorities say that the influx is expected due to the holidays and that management is being carried out without delay.

To cope with the large number of entries and exits, 10 counters have been put into operation in Morina , both at the entrance and exit, making the free movement agreement between the two countries applicable.
