The expert on European integration, Shenoll Muharremi, has come to the defense of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, after the statement that " Kosovo has become no man's land ".
Through a post on "Facebook", he said that Rama's interview is measured and good, saying that his argument is to restore NATO/KFOR control, which avoids a potential conflict.
"How hot-headed we are. The interview of Edi Rama in FT is measured and good. Have you read who is commenting on the interview or have you just heard the word 'no man's land' and you are talking? Rama has said that in the north there is a need for order and law because it is being controlled by criminal gangs and thus it has become a 'no man's land'. He did not say that Kosovo is no man's land. As for the north and KFOR/NATO, his argument is to 'restore control' to NATO/KFOR, which avoided a potential conflict like we saw in the terrorist attack in Banjska ", wrote Muharremi.
He added that there is a tendency that created a deep division between the Albanians of Kosovo and Albania and this is useless, harmful.
" There is a tendency to create a deep division between the Albanians of Kosovo and Albania, and this is useless, harmful. Especially we need to be careful after verifying the news well and talking about their source of money. I saw that even senior figures at Harvard had not checked the source and the news properly and had reacted about this" , Muharremi wrote further.
