Izet Haxhia will eventually serve 21 years in prison.

The Tirana court sentenced Haxhina to 21 years in prison in February of this year, in connection with the murder of former democratic deputy Azem Hajdari in 1998. He was convicted of the criminal offense of "premeditated murder carried out in cooperation.
