Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has denounced today, through a digital engineer, the problems of the Qukës-Qafë Plloë road axis project, which are delaying the completion and inauguration of this road axis.
According to Berisha's complaint, there is a 17-meter unevenness at the point of connection of the two lots, and to solve it as a problem, the road is being extended with curves to reach the level. According to the digital engineer, this happens because of the supervisor who, according to him, was originally an Italian and has now disappeared altogether.
However, Berisha through this post is denouncing the problems of the project approved by his Government. As Berisha himself emphasizes in his status, the project of this road and its beginning was made at a time when he was the prime minister of the country.
Berisha emphasizes that this is a blinding of the eyes from the theft, since this 43 km road was procured for 73 million euros, but over the years the stolen price has almost quadrupled and reached 225 million euros and it is still not finished.

Scandal with the road that was lost. Big surprise!
At the point where the two lots would join, there is a 17m height dislevel. This is not a tunnel, but a blinding of the eyes from the theft. The 43 km Qukës-Qafë Plloë road, which started in 2009, was supposed to be finished in 2014, but it has not yet been completed. The road was procured for 73 million euros, but over the years the theft price has almost quadrupled and reached 225 million euros.

Hello Dr., I am a road engineer, I wanted to inform you that the Qukës-Plloçë road is blocked due to a big problem. At the point where the two lots were supposed to join, there was a 17 m height difference. It is not the problem of the project, but of the implementation without a supervisor. They had an Italian, but he has disappeared. Incompetence, grand corruption or otherwise, or all together?
Now to correct it, they think of extending the road in vain with curves until they equalize the levels. This, in addition to expenses, greatly reduces the quality of the road and its classification. In May 2018, when Prime Minister Edi Rama inspected the works on the Qukës-Qafë Plloë road, he said that it will be completed in July 2019.
Over the course of these years, just like Shkumbini when she gets out of bed, her budget has also swelled. Currently, the investment amount has reached 225.3 million dollars. Quite an investment for nothing!
