Prime Minister Edi Rama has revealed details from the closing of the campaign in Tirana, which also marks the official closing of the electoral campaign for the May 11 elections.

In a video message on social media, Rama states that only candidates for MP in the Tirana district and citizens of this area will be present at today's meeting.

The Prime Minister also commented on the diaspora vote, for which he said that the numbers are encouraging in terms of participation, while adding that "I am very curious to see the diaspora's decision, the diaspora's influence."

Rama:  " Here comes the last hours of this journey, shortly at 19:30 we have Tirana and only Tirana, everyone else has stayed in their districts making preparations and the next phase of the process, organization, the commissioners' bodies.

Meanwhile, at 7:30 PM, Tirana will give its final message to all of Albania and Albanians wherever they are.

I am very glad that there was a significant movement in the last days on the part of those who had not sent their envelopes, the numbers are very encouraging, we will see what the participation will be like, but without a doubt the trend from the beginning showed us that we would have a very high participation of Albanians abroad.

I am happy that we gave them the opportunity to vote, that they took advantage of this opportunity for the first vote in history of Albanians abroad, but also for this challenge of Albania with history on May 11th.

And I am very curious to see the decision of the diaspora, the influence of the diaspora and of course with the greatest respect. At 19:30, we will be together with Tirana for Tirana and for Albania 2030 in the EU.
