Prime Minister Edi Rama will call a festive rally in Skenderbej Square in Tirana next week.

Sources from the Prime Minister say the date has not been set nor the clock, but it is said that the rally will be called by Rama to celebrate the opening of negotiations with the European Union.

This will be the official reason, while informally the demonstration will serve Rama to test support and 'return answers' to the Sali Berisha rally on 7 July.

Similar demonstrations have also called out Sali Berisha when he was in power, from him for NATO membership, to the festive rally for visa liberalisation.

Sources say Rama has left orders to the leaders of the party's 61 branches at the meeting he held with them on Wednesday, who ordered them to organise for a rally before the start of the August holidays.
