The mayor of Divjaka, Fredi Kokoneshi, has responded to the accusations of the DP deputies, who asked the General Prosecutor's Office to investigate him because, according to the DP, he is involved and convicted of human trafficking in Italy.

In a reaction to News24, Kokoneshi says that these are repeated accusations from 2018. He says that in a decision of the prosecution in 2019, his figure is clean.

The socialist mayor has accused MP Gazment Bardhi of blackmailing him, as the property of a resort in Divjakë is being verified, where, according to Kokonesh, it is a refuge for the democrat.

"Repeated accusations. The same as in 2018. There is a decision of the prosecutor's office on July 15, 2019 where my profile is clean, after checks inside and outside the country. Accusations due to a member of the DP national council, Dritan Stërkaj.
