Prime Minister Rama spoke at the joint conference in Brussels.

In his speech at the press conference before the start of negotiations from Brussels, he said that this day comes thanks to the non-surrender of the Albanian people for the European dream.

Rama:  I will start with thanks and I want to thank the president of the Commission, Mrs. Ursula who knows and knew how to fight for us and all the member states. I want to thank another German lady who is no longer active pro without her we would not be here today. Angela Merkel, it's her birthday and I would like to wish her all the best. We would not be here without the efforts of the French presidency and Macron. Thank you to all the Albanian people who never gave up and never stopped dreaming of following the European path.
